Mr. Hussain Alowainati

Is a successful self-made businessman and philanthropist based in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He is the founder and president of the leading multi-business-conglomerate Hussain Alowainati holding company. From the modest beginnings of Alowainati in the retail trade sector and establishment of Shade Factory, Mr. Hussain Alowainati has spearheaded his company to be one of the most successful local companies in Kingdom of Bahrain.

As a passionate philanthropist, Alowainati is a firm believer in social responsibility and supporting communities in need through sustained long-term philanthropic initiatives, which directly provide significant support and benefits to the underprivileged.

Gulf American Hospital (GAH) is envisioned multi-specialty hospital established in 2014. Gulf American Hospital (GAH) is providing safe and quality medical care in a state of art facility, with leading healthcare services and unrivalled expertise, both locally and internationally. The President Mr. Hussain Alowainati is a very successful entrepreneur businessman, his companies and projects in Bahrain have evolved from its early foundations engaged in several key business sectors including Retail, FMCG, Real State, Hospitality, and Healthcare Facilities. With a clear vision to transform the regional healthcare landscape, Mr. Hussain Salman Alowainati invested 56 million USD to establish Gulf American Hospital in order to set a new benchmark for Kingdom of Bahrain healthcare industry through its state-of-the-art facilities and world-class caregivers, who strive to put patients first across its continuum of care. Quality, safety, Innovation, and education are the foundational pillars of Gulf American Hospital (GAH), supporting the further development of a sustainable healthcare sector in line with the vision of Kingdom of Bahrain and the region.

We are strategically located between Manama and Isa Town, overlooking the Sheikh Salman Highway that connects Manama to the southern province of Bahrain. Designed to comply with the National Health Regulatory Authority ( NHRA ) and international patient safety standards, Gulf American Hospital (GAH) is poised to be one of the biggest private hospital establishments in the Kingdom of Bahrain in terms of area and facility. The hospital is housed in a 7,800 square meters building that is easily accessible from all parts of Bahrain. With our State-of-the-art medical equipment, and highly qualified and experienced multicultural team; Gulf American Hospital (GAH) provides a wide range of health services such as outpatient, inpatient, diagnostic, medical, interventional and surgical services.
